Not a problem. Safeway has designed our classroom program around busy kids. Lessons can be taken in any order, though wedo recommend Lesson #10 be taken at or near the end.
If you miss a lesson, you are responsible for making up that exactlesson number. All our calendars are online. You can attend any Safeway classroom or any community education program tomake up a missed lesson with one proviso: if the class is marked 'Class Full' on our web site, please do not attend thatclass because there might not be room for you. There is no need to sign up for a make-up lesson; just arrive for the missed lesson and sign-in. Our instructors alwayswelcome new students for a make-up class. And all our instructors can record your attendance in our database and issue aBlue Card when all the lessons are completed. If you expect to come late or need to leave early, please understand Safeway follows the State's requirements very closely. We cannot allow students into the classroom more than five minutes late. You cannot leave early from a class.
If you areunable to attend the entire class, you should plan to make up the missed lesson on another day when you can attend the entireclass. And remember, the State does not allow more than one three-hour lesson per day.

Hastings is a city in Dakota counties in the U.S. State of Minnesota, near the confluence of the Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers. The population was 22,172 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Dakota County. The bulk of Hastings is in Dakota County; only a small part of the city extends into Washington County. The city is named for the first elected governor of the state of Minnesota, Henry Hastings Sibley. The advantages of the location that led to Hastings' original growth are that it is well-drained, provides a good riverboat port, and is close to a hydropower resource at the falls of the Vermillion River.
Sites closer to the river confluence are either too swampy (Dakota County) or too hilly (Washington County and Pierce County, Wisconsin).U.S. Route 61 and Minnesota State Highways 55 and 316 are three of the main arterial routes in the city.
